We write a lot about back links, that is the nature of the name of this site. Just as much as “Content is King”, well backlinks certainly could be called “Queen.”
If you will note over on the right hand column where the Alexa widget is it shows the Alexa score for this site, (which has been dropping nicely thanks to all of you recently,) and it also shows 173 backlinks.
Well 173 is a lie. I know for a fact that there are over 1,200 backlinks to this site but for some reason that only Google knows they only report a smidgen of them. Actually the Yahoo Site Explorer link tool is a better one to check, but even there they do not report them all.
I do not dwell on the reporting but do work on various forms of article marketing, blog commenting, forum posting, social posting, and asking others to write blog posts about my sites in order to get the highest quality form of back link.
Some sites for instance like niche marketing sites these methods are the only way you will ever get back links, so you do have to work at it. I have never and would not recommend buying links. I know that some savvy marketers do it, but with my luck I would get caught and can not take the chance. However, that said, a few good links from very high GPR sites are worth a ton more than the normal GPR 0 through say GPR 3 sites.
Pick some keywords that you want to become famous for and start your own backlink program, nice and easy does it. Say 2 to 5 back links per day would be fine, and no doubt more if you like, but I prefer the slow and steady method.I have been looking around the web to read what some others in this field recommend and want to share those sites here with you now.

Your update generally not come often but when it come it always give us something good. I don’t know backlink is Queen or not but I certainly feel getting backlink is really a wonderful thing when you think about Google PR. However, over the year I learn PR is not much important when you think about traffic, it’s important for introducing private advertising in your site. To me putting write keyword in article is much more important than backlink.
Ya You can say backlink is queen…comment a lot on good pr nd dofollow blogs is a great and easy method to get backlinks…

You just can’t have too many links.
I was on a high keyword ranking photography blog last week, where the guy is not selling anything, and I checked and he has 58,000 backlinks. No wonder he ranks so high. I like to build them gradually a few a day. Glad you liked the mashup.

I can see that this could be a little confusing. Please let me try to make it a little easier to understand.
Right above this comment at the bottom of the article you will see the sentence that says “PS: Remember the Free Online Contest here on Link Money will end December”… Well the highlighted text is what is called an anchor text backlink.
The html code for that would be: and what you do is insert the url you want the link to go to between the quotation marks and put the anchor text between the two carrots. This must be entered when your editor is in html mode.
Now the above is for building your own internal links on your own site but the code is the same for others also. So what you do is send your link to a friend and ask them to insert it in one of their blog posts. There you have it, a backlink.

I say it is a third links a third content and a third design, While backlinks are important its more important to make sure they are going to the right place.
Hmm, interesting. I wonder what you mean by design?
As far as the links going to the right place, that is what your anchor text is designed to do is to send the viewer and the search bots to a specific blog post, not necessarily the home page.
Design? I don’t think a search bot cares a hoot about the design of the site.

I’ve been spending the past few days searching for different methods of building backlinks. I’ve studied link wheels, article writing, different backlink schemes, and a few others. Thank you for taking the time to compile this list. It was very helpful.

Backlinks are a royal pain in the arse to get even if you deserve them half the time!

Chances are once you reach page 1 number 1 for your keyword, that someone else will be trying to bump you off. So in my opinion you should try to have good websites link to you forever.
I saw a good backlinking program for Real Writing Jobs at realwritingjobsscam.info. The author used Yahoo site search to find what other promoters of Real Writing Jobs were doing and just copied it. Genius.
I simply wanted to leave a quick thoughts to talk about your web site was great. I stumbled upon it on google search just after experiencing a great deal of other information which was not likely related. I believed I might find this much before considering how fine the content is.
