New Social Site Echodemic is in Beta - Promote Your Blog
Here is a new social networking site, Echodemic dot com, that allows you to cross-post your Blog articles and have them voted (echoed) on.
Echodemic dot com is in Beta and by the number of Blog posts it must have just started recently. It is sort of a DIGG like experience except that you post your whole article on their site and their readers and members get to read it and give it an “Echo” vote.
The articles that receive the most echoes move to the front page of Echodemic and you will get interested parties coming back to your website to see what else you have to offer.
This could be a great free traffic generator and will bring the type of visitor that is interested in what you have to say.
I just posted my first article and it does not have any echoes yet, but it should be fairly easy to move to the front page because it is so new that the highest echo count for most of the “best of” are only around seven (now 15) echoes or so.
I would really appreciate it if you readers of this Blog would go there and check it out. Click on the tab for “Most recent” posts and find mine that is titled “The Niche Doctor Cures WordPress Code,” and give it an “Echo.” I did alter the text a tiny bit from my Blog post of the same subject, but I don’t know if that is really necessary or not.
If you want to keep track of my posts, my user name is “linkmoneydotorg.”

I just checked out the site and it looks quality…
I am going to register with a few of my blog posts, and I’ll give you a rank as soon as I sign up.
Been looking for new ways to promote my blog aside from squidoo and article submissions.

It sounds exactly the same as Digg and all the other copies.
It has a really crisp layout though

Yes do send Echodemic some of your posts. I think you will be pleased. They will reach a whole new audience that you never would otherwise.

@Simon, It is not my site. I just came across it yesterday and wrote the post. The webmaster contacted me with a thank you, but I don’t know how he found it unless he subscribes to Google alerts for the word Echodemic. My post was purely off the cuff and unbiased. It is crisp and is not “exactly” like DIGG, in that you read full post articles. I think it has it’s place and you will hit an all new audience.

@zolar No doubt about it is confusing. There are dozens of social networking sites and some people do use many of them. This is just another.
