Stolen Website Returned To Rightful Owner

The massive outpouring of support for MakeUseOf dot com was phenomenal. The rightful owner of the blog just made a post that GoDaddy did return it after 24 hours and he said that it would not have happened without the help of all the bloggers and tweeters that kept GoGaddys feet to the flames.
We are very happy that it worked out, and again, thanks for all your support.

Just read the previous post, it’s a bit scary something like this could happen. Luckily they had a big following but what if it had happened to a smaller site.
Glad to see it was resolved relatively quickly. As for legal action I don’t know all the facts so wouldn’t like to say.
Scary is right. This could happen to you and me just as well. We need better security for transfers.
