Suspected Murderer Captured Due to his Facebook Account
A string of recent grizzly murders have been occurring in Angeles City, Philippine Islands.
Some of the victims were Filipino and some were Americans, a Brit and a Canadian. Seems the murderer had something against ex-pats that retired to the Philippines.
Angeles City is near where the former U.S Clark Field airbase was located, and many American retirees live there.
The suspect was traced by police through his profile and photos on Facebook.
Mark Dizon is a 28 year old computer geek and gun nut. Many photos of him are on the internet including some that show a silencer equipped 9 mm semi-auto pistol.

This just in from my friend Douglas who has been sleeping with one eye open.

We are safe for now until the next psycho
That is just sick. It is good that they caught that guy. I had a client when I worked at a lawfirm that gave us his myspace info if we weren’t defending him we totally could have used his site against him.
“Due to” means “caused by.” Use “because of” instead.
I’m happy that criminals are so smart that they forget about this. Saves the police some time and people some stress
.
This is nuts! I never thought facebook could help solve a crime… kinda crazy!
Facebook is undoubtedly a job well done. Profile of every criminal cannot be made and recorded. There are people who commit crime for the first time; you cannot find them very easily. Profiles made on social networking websites can be really beneficial for law.
At least we can say that one good thing came out from Facebook.
I guess they are good for something.
