Need a WordPress Coach?
Do you ever get to a point in WordPress that there is something that you would like to know and can not figure it out yourself? If you have, then this post will solve your problem
Back in August I purchased a Warrior Special Offer (WSO) from the WarriorForum.com for “WordPress Coaching”. It has expired now but the coach certainly has not.
The person in the teachers chair was Karen Blundell and this series of screenshare sessions was worth ten times the amount of money I paid at the time. For one on one coaching, or mentoring, from a first rate php programmer you can expect to pay from $250 to $500 per hour and this was a fraction of that for four one hour sessions.
Now I know how to use WordPress. Have been doing it for about four years now. Still there were a lot of things that I did not know and wanted to learn about. This was the perfect opportunity. Karen did have a structured series of instruction and then patiently answered all of my dumb questions. Or as a speaker once told the crowd, “There is no such thing as a dumb question… Although those are the easiest ones to answer.”
It is amazing the number of issues you can have with WordPress and due to its simplicity of operation you sort of just get by as is most of the time. However when you have an expert in attendance the answers will be displayed right before your very eyes. That is a beautiful thing.
I meant to tell you all about this last summer but due to life getting in my way as always, it was slightly delayed. The reason I am telling you now is that yesterday I was having trouble figuring out how to do a modification to a header image and decided to take Karen up on her generous offer at the end of the WSO instruction course, which was “Feel free to ask me a question any time if you are having trouble.”
I was, I did, and she answered immediately with the “How to do it”. By the way her teaching level is explained in very easy to understand terms.
So dear readers please consider contacting Karen Blundell if you are in need of WordPress counseling.
She is brilliant!
PS: Even if her coaching program is not available do hire her to fix whatever it is that is broken. She can do it.
Give it Up for Google
Give it up for Google, the do no evil company has become bigger than everything. This brilliant little team of mathematicians created something that is now beyond human control. They have won you know…
Man I could not wait to get my Gmail account back when they first started up. People were selling invites on ebay and literally the day I was going to buy one, I got the invite. Oh Happy Days!
I had already achieved superiority by having discovered the fantastic features of Alta Vista moving on beyond the old stalwart search engine, Yahoo. Soon it was obvious that Google was very fast and seemed to return things that you were actually searching for, not just pages and pages of totally unrelated nonsense that occasionally would have a gem in it.
I had also mastered Excite and the metacrawlers, but now Google, well they just were the best, hands down. I had a genealogy website that had been working since the mid or late 1980′s and when I heard about Blogger by Google, well it was just no question. Build a blog on Blogger. It’s free after all.
Soon it was obvious that when you searched for something, anything, on Google that along with your search topic returns there were also some advertisements that seemed to be targeted to just exactly what you were searching for. My isn’t that clever, how they do that?
So fast forward to about 2007 and I learned about WordPress and started to build websites. Boy did I build em. I would just put up a site about anything, anything at all and stick some Adsense code on it and sit back and light up a Lucky. Soon the cash would be rolling in. Not.
I did not know anything about keywords or Adwords or prices of words that advertisers would pay Google for to have their ads placed in the best positions. After a year or more it was obvious that this was a bad business model and had to learn more, a lot more.
I looked at my pitiful AdSense reports and it dawned on me that the payout structure was based on how many people visited your site and how many clicked on the ads. So on sites where the word prices were low, or sites that people were just looking for free information, those page views counted against me. They were basing the final payout on the total views as part of the equation of payment. Not fair. Not fair at all, but it is the Golden rule. He who has the gold makes the rules.
So I took all my AdSense ads down and started from square one. I decided to only put AdSense on websites that had high payouts for the keywords and worked on driving traffic to those sites. That is not an easy task either because for every scheme that someone comes up with to “help” the search engines find your site, guess who figures it out?
Some other real brainy things I did was to create multiple accounts with several hosting companies. I did not want the Big G to know that I owned all of these many sites. Ha!
There is nothing that you can do to get around it. If you use AdSense you have the same ID number. If you use WordPress you have the same Akismet API and the Yahoo API and other identifiers that are internal in each of your sites. Believe me they know who you are and where your kids go to school.
Just today Google came out with their own version of BUZZ. Cripes! I do not want all of my email list automatically added to any mass social media thing. I have many different personas and pen names that I write under. I certainly do not want people from my classic car business, knowing about my lefty green business, or the fact that I sell ladies brassieres! True, but its a long story.
At the bottom of any Gmail page there is a tab that you can use to TURN BUZZ OFF! By the way another tab can turn Google Chat off too if that annoys you. Any way to get to the reason for this post as from the start.
If the government ever wanted to collect any small percentage of what we freely and openly give to Google every minute of the day, there would be screams to high Heaven. Well 1984 is here forever.
Surely you heard about the gutsy move Google made in China. They are now partnering up with the NSA to take that problem to the next level. Ha! That should make it easier for the govt to just nationalize Google during the next crisis and guess what? It’s too late.
This will go right along with the 2010 census data. Did you know that when the census taker visits your home, and they will, that when they are at your doorway they click a little button on a little devise that sends a signal up to a GPS satellite that will pinpoint your doorway?
Now you take every single search that you have ever made on Google, they do still have it in their memory banks, and you couple that with exactly where you are at any moment, and do you see where I am going with this?…
Oh by the way, did you know that Google only indexes about 10% of the world wide web? The other 90% does not cause any advertising to be generated. Do a few searches about “The Deep Web.”
Well I for one no longer care. At times I feel like just running into Google’s headquarters, stripping off all my clothes, throwing myself down on the receptionists desk on my back, and shouting “C’mon Google! Have your way with me!

This is what I do for a living full time and then some. About three years ago I was forced to make a decision as to how to support myself for the rest of my years as I had met with the most enormous disruption in life plans and literally had to start over.
I had been publishing materials on the internet for about 12 years, regarding my life long hobby of genealogy. Everything I had put up on the net even starting before there was a world wide web, had been presented to fellow genealogists for free. I never dreamed of trying to make money on genealogy, the net just created opportunities for connections and was very rewarding.
I had been using computers seriously since 1979 and had built companies of technicians that integrated computers into machinery control for automation of various manufacturing processes. I knew how to create teams of extremely brilliant people and we were very successful at what we did. All that said I didn’t know beans about programming, web design, graphics, auto responders, ftp, and all the necessary elements required to become good at website publishing.
That all changed with WordPress. Here was an easy to learn method of publishing on the internet in story form and I concentrated every minute I could spare to learn how this thing works and to start to earn a living on the internet.
Now I have way over 100 web properties in all various levels of success. More importantly I have carved out a niche that works for me in that not only do I build niche marketing sites for myself, I build, maintain, operate and write high quality blogs for other companies.
If you listen to the audio interview with Beat Schindler on this website you will hear me talk about the 3rd Party Blog program that I pioneered and now work in joint venture with S-GO Consulting where we do the complete blogging program for many different businesses in all different types of industries. You may read more of this service at my site www.3rdPartyBlog.com. We do the whole blog, including researching and writing all of the content. This alone makes me a full time income now.
There is a HUGE need for this type of service and I would encourage all of our readers here on LinkMoney.org to look into the possibility of doing this for businesses in your area. They need it, they do not know how to blog, or they do not have people that they can assign to a company blog, and you know exactly how to do it. So go and sell yourself and learn for yourself as to whether or not if blogging can make money.
There I just gave you my most important method of making money online. Now I want to share with you some information on a tool that I use almost every day. In our 3rd Party Blog business it is my duty to research and write the content for all of these different blogs that we build. Now if I had to do it alone I would be totally unable, as we have just too many clients to write for. So here is what I do.
I do the initial research and first couple of articles, and then I hand the project off to our crack team of professional copywriters. We have built a team of extremely talented people that are literally scattered all over the world and each and every one of them has super abilities and life experience that qualifies them to write on all of the different subjects that we are presented with.
Ultimately all of their output comes to me for the final edit and for additional items that I might want to include such as emphasizing a client product or a call to action and things that might come to mind at publication time. Outsourcing is a developed skill that is not easy to acquire to do it properly but I feel as though I am very good at it and we have dedicated writers that will always rise to the occasion of a rush job and believe you me, I love them all for their brilliant talent and dedication. We couldn’t do this job without them.
Now you might say; “Well just what the heck do you do then Rich?” Here is what I feel is one of the most important parts of this process. Keyword Research! There I’ve said it. No matter what niche or subject our clients hire us to blog about, my primary concern is that we make sure that our articles will be indexed well in the search engines.
Just as Willie Sutton answered to the question of “Why do you rob banks?” he said, “Cause that’s where the money is.” Well we do not rob banks, we do not do anything illegal or black hat, but what we absolutely do is to make sure our articles will be keyword rich in subjects that people are presently searching for, and even as, or possibly more important, that the keywords have a high degree of commercial intent.
What does that mean? Well there are keywords and there are “keywords.” Some popular keywords are searched on for just plain old curiosity or in searching for the answer to a school exam question. Those keywords do not have any commercial intent. The searcher is not looking to purchase anything, they are just looking for free information.
We like to use keywords where there is a fair chance that the searcher is interested in making a purchase of a product or where we have a fair chance of promoting something that will make their life better or to solve some problems that are obvious that they would like to have solved.
Now here is how I do this and though this is an affiliate sales product and if you decide to click through and learn more about this product I will more than likely make a commission. I never advertise anything that I do not use myself and fully believe in and if you know me well enough by now from my writing and presence here on LinkMoney.org then you know I speak the truth.
I purchased my own copy of Micro Niche Finder (mnf) software about two years ago and I use it like I said, almost every day. The man that dreamed this up and offers it to others is James Jones. He is not a high pressure salesman. He will explain the benefits of using Micro Niche Finder and it will be up to you to decide if this is for you or not. Personally I firmly believe that if you publish on the web, that you need it, period.
Since I first invested in my own copy there have been many new versions that have come out, and each and every one of them has made Micro Niche Finder better and better. You will make a one time purchase and all future updates and first class tech support are yours at no additional cost.
So what I do is to perform the research and then send the keywords to our writers and I start with the mnf tool. All you do is type in a primary keyword in a niche that you are interested in and in a few seconds the screen will fill with suggested keywords that are relevant to that category. They tell you approximately how often the keywords are searched for, the strength of competition and the approximate Adword cost of the keyword and will give you an overall view to be able to select the best keywords to use for your articles.
There are other keyword research tools and some of them are excellent also, including the absolutely free tool at https://adwords.google.com and I use these as well and suggest you should too. However for day to day, quick and easy I always refer to Micro Niche Finder.
Check it out, watch the videos and hear directly from James about just how easy it is to find keywords to use for your articles.

One Simple Piece of HTML Code Can Make You Rich
Here it is. They say that you should give your best stuff away. That is what I am doing here.
If you are a coder, go away. This is stupid to you. If you are not a coder and you are a beginning or intermediate blogger then this simple piece of HTML code can make you rich.
Look at it, burn it into your memory, never forget it!
<a href=””></a>
That little baby should be on your desktop, or instantly at the ready for when you are writing a blog post, or sending emails, or posting comments on blogs, or posting messages to forums. That simple little piece of HTML code is your new best friend.
Every hyper link on the internet starts with that simple little piece of code.
Now I have said many times before, I am not a coder. I had to learn every single thing I do by myself by reading, asking dumb questions, and trial and error. You know what they say; “There is no such thing as a dumb question… except those are the easiest ones to answer!”
At first this little piece of code just looked like something crazy to me, but now let me try to explain it in non-technical terms.
The <a part gets the attention of the Wizard of OZ. The href=” part tells the internet that the thing that comes next will be a url to somewhere. The “> part says that everything before the close quote is the link and now I am going to point you to some text that I want the link to represent. Finally the </a> means everything before the left pointing carrot is the previously mentioned anchor text and then the last slash a> closes it and says; “There I am a genius and I created an anchor text hyper link!”
Example: <a href=”http://www.alinkgoingtosomewebsite.com”>I am a genius</a>
Here is the easiest way to use this information. Keep it handy as I said, and when you want to use it copy it into an HTML edit mode document and insert your url link between the quotes and insert your anchor text between the carrots, save and now you have it!
If you are using WordPress and you are creating a blog post you can select the “Visual” edit mode or the “HTML” edit mode and make sure you are using the latter when you paste in your final anchor text link.
Now go forth and spread your links.
We Have Our Three Winners of the Link Money Contest
Well after burning the midnight oil until about 6am today we finally finished the tally and selected the three winners of the first ever Link Money Contest.
I entered all contestants in a database and assigned each person a contestant number, then as they performed additional tasks I kept a running tally of the points count. When the contest closed there was a total of 713 points spread out among all of the contestants.
Great care was taken to be sure that all points were credited to each contestant and then the final drawing was totally selected by chance by using Random.org to generate three different numbers for all of the points.
So now we will announce who the three winners were…
But first a word from our sponsors.
I want to thank each and every contestant who put a lot of effort into all the jumping through hoops that some cockamamie guy dreamed up, gee I wonder who that could be..?
I really want to thank some very special online internet marketing friends that stepped up when the contest was first announced and from the goodness of their heart freely donated some very nice prizes with no strings attached.
Mark Mason of Mason World http://www.masonworld.com/ donated two copies each of NicheAdsenseThemes, FirstEbookNow, and NicheNav, which will go to the first and second place winners.
J.T. Pratt of http://www.jtpratt.com/ donated three copies of his ebay plugin for WordPress, WP Easy Bay, One of those will go to each of the three winners. He also donated 2 hours of consulting as a WordPress Consultant value), which can be used for upgrades, security, SEO, theme work, etc.” This will be one hour each to first and second place winner.
Then LinkMoney.org donated a paid copy of GoogleSniper and $200 cash to the First Place winner, which will be in addition to the above mentioned prizes..
$100 cash and prizes mentioned above go to the Second Place winner.
$50 cash and the Ebay plugin to the Third Place winner.
And the winners are…
First place goes to: Contestant “krissy knox”
Second Place goes to: Contestant “Eva”
Third Place goes to: Contestant “glf”
Notifications have been made by email.
Thanks again to everyone involved and when we do another Link Money Contest it will be easier all the way around.
Happy Holidays everyone.

Is Google Sniper The Real Deal?
I asked myself the obvious, “Is Google Sniper the real deal”? If you are in the Internet Marketing business and trying to find the best ways to make some money online then you have no doubt tried many different systems. Some work really well, some are just plain old duds.

So with full disclosure: There are affiliate advertisements for this product on this website. But in this case I am going to give you my own impressions and opinion of this product, Google Sniper. I am not being paid by George Brown or any other person or company to tell you this. I will however earn a commission if you do decide to try it yourself.
Chances are you heard some of the build up to the forthcoming release of Google Sniper the buzz was everywhere. “18 year old former furniture mover earns $15,000 per month…” I usually avoid these things like a plague, but for some reason this one had a little different twist and I wanted to know more.
Jack Humphrey of Friday Traffic Report and BlogSuccess fame is the one who first made me aware of Google Sniper and I trust Jack. I am a member of BlogSuccess, and decided to go a little deeper.
The first thing that made me almost back off entirely was that George was only 18 years old when he reportedly hit the big time and developed Google Sniper. Well at the ripe old age of 19 now he is sending messages to his minions from Thailand and other exotic places as he is taking a leisurely trip around the world. You see George “has people” now. He can come and go as he damn well pleases.
I remember last year one time I was on one of the mmo forums and some pimple faced geek claimed he was making $10K a week using Adwords and selling some shitty Acai Berry weight loss product. I called that dude out and said if that was true he would be on Oprah and man was I surprised! That kid had followers that booed me right off the podium. Turns out he “was” making that kind of money as a young teen-ager. Friggin incredible!
I have been trying dozens, hundreds, perhaps thousands of things in the last three years to try to make some serious cash with Adsense and affiliate marketing. Some have been OK, many were flops, but what the hey? So I joined the program. It was less than a hundred bucks and I have wasted more than that thousands of times. “Hey it’s about my time”!
So if you are in that same position you will do well to download your copy of the Google Sniper training program and videos, and make sure you follow the steps. Here is why I say that. George takes the approach that you are a first time IM wannabe, and he starts out with just how to get set up with WordPress and what plugins to install, etc. “Come on George I know all that crap, give me the tricky stuff”, I’m thinking’.
Turns out, there is no “tricky stuff”. I was expecting to hear the voice of a Crazy Eddie or the Sham wow guy, but not at all. George does not sound like a kid at all and you can tell immediately that he has two things going for him. The first is that he has some very powerful grey matter between his ears, and the next, though I have no proof, I’ll bet he had a wonderful set of parents teaching him manners and right from wrong in his growth years.
If you follow his plan and select the perfect niches, and he tells you how to find them, and more importantly how to select the “right” one, then you will make money. Let’s put it this way. I have found a niche to start a fresh brand new Google Sniper program with and will have it up and running in a week or so. Got to clear my plate of many other projects with loose ends first.
So what I did two days ago was to take some of the key points of his marketing plan and instituted them on one of my better niche sites. This site has become an authority site in the “Green” category. It is a GPR3, Alexa about 300K and has regular readers plus about 200 to 300 per day that find it in search. It ranks top 10 for about a dozen good keywords in green.
That site regularly kicks off five ten bucks a day in PPC and about the same in affiliate products. I put some ClickBank products on it a few months ago and it usually has a half-dozen or so hops per week and once in a while a reader makes an investment in some item that catches their fancy.
That was two days ago that I used just one tiny part of the Google Sniper training program on. Yesterday from 300 viewers I had 95 CB hops to an alternate energy product. There was no trickery, no sleight-of-hand. Everything that I presented about the product was in full disclosure that it was an advertisement and all I did was use George’s easy method.

Why did it work? Will it hold up? Was it a flash in the pan? Those are obvious questions and there is no immediate answer, however, I know deep down inside that this is good stuff. These are common sense approaches that anyone can do by working the plan.
All I can tell you further is that it is working for me and I am positive that it will work for you if you can follow “very” simple instructions and forget your previous methods.
You can click this link: Is Google Sniper the real deal, or any of the affiliate banners that are on this site to check it out for yourself.
Blogging Make Money with Cybers eBay Plugin for WordPress
Blogging Make Money using Cybers eBay Plugin for WordPress. Cybercoder who we discussed at length in a previous post makes a lot of money using automated eBay affiliate offers on some of his niche blogs. He created this out of raw PHP code for himself and then recently released the code in the form of a plugin that you can download and get started right away making money with eBay.
You do not have a dog in the fight so to speak because the plugin just goes out to eBay and finds appropriate offers to match your keywords and you receive instant PayPal income when the reader makes the purchase. No pain, no strain, no shipping, no handling, no work at all on your part. How sweet is that?
Here is a screenshot image of how the Blog post would look:

It really is pretty cool and is absolutely a perfect money maker for all you niche marketers.
It is available at the very low price of only $17.00 which will be a mere pittance compared to the income it can make for you.
Just go ahead and click the “Buy Now” button and you will be up and running in a few minutes.
Blogging Make Money – CSS Text Size – How to Mix Text Size in a WordPress Post
CSS Text Size is set in your WordPress theme to whatever size and type style the theme designer decided to use. In most cases the only thing that you can do to call attention to a specific word or sentence is to highlight the word/s and use either “bold” or “italic” from the toolbar. In your Blogging Make Money effort there will be times that you will want to use these instructions.
Have you ever wondered how to mix various sizes within the same post? Well I have and have also searched a few times on Google for how to do this but never came across the right answer, or rather never found one that I could understand.
So this morning I was on a Skype chat with my friend, and PHP / WordPress guru, @Cybecoder otherwise known in the world as David Cooley. I posed this question to him and got simple one or two word answers, he likes to kid around, and then I realized he really was telling me how, but he wanted me to discover it for myself.
![]() Dashboard View |
At first I was not asking the question properly and he was instructing me how to go into the CSS and change things like: font-family:Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; but then I explained that no, I meant how to “mix” font sizes, now that’s a different story.
So the words went from something like this; “CSS,” “visual editor,” “pick them,” … yeah, then what? “Highlight text,” “use toolbar,” “format”… Crap, I still didn’t get it. So after clicking everything I could find on the toolbar it suddenly dawned on me that if you click on the kitchen sink, farthest icon to the right, a drop down box shows up that you can select the font size in by selecting from the examples shown, such as Heading 1 through Heading 6.
So in the two pictures you will see how easy it is to change or mix the “CSS Text Size” in a WordPress Post.
1 – visual editor
2 – toolbar – kitchen sink
3 – highlight text
4 – dropdown box, select Header size.

So after finally learning this I figured I would share it because I doubt that I am the only non-programmer programmer that has to be forced into learning all this goofy junk just to get their words across to their readers. If you have read other articles on this Linkmoney.org Blog you will realize that I am “NOT” a programmer. I hate programming! But I must admit it is kinda fun when you do learn some new little tricks like this one.
Now if any of you readers need help with your WordPress Blog or theme just ask David. You can follow him on Twitter @cybercoder or go to his website at www.cybercoded.net/ , where his byline is “Helping others with their WordPress, PHP and Online Presence.” Cybercoder is the best and if he only works on your problem for five or ten minutes that is all he charges you for.
Let’s hear from you readers. Does Blogging Make Money for you? If it does you will need to know some of these little tweaks along the way to make your point. Do you have anything that you can add to this subject? Even if you just want to tell me how much of a programming idiot I am that’s OK too. Please leave your comments and suggestions.
After all we only can learn from people like you that know how.
I’m Rich
Joomla! Crazy Name Excellent Program
Have you ever built a website, or considered building a website using Joomla! ?
Seeing as how I have become a WordPress butt boy and have built a couple of hundred or more sites using WordPress I normally do not look outside my little WP box for other possibilities.
My website publishing started close to a dozen years ago and up until a little over a year ago I gave all my talent away for free. The first site I created was on freewebs.com and it was about genealogy. One does not have to be a genius to fill in the boxes that freewebs gives you and then hit “publish.”
About seven or eight years ago I took my now famous genealogy site and hired a professional web design company to convert it over to a full blown very impressive looking site with tons of interactive features and they used Joomla! That was the first I had ever heard of that website design system.
The code looked like a plate of rotten spaghetti to me and there was no way I would EVER learn any of that crud. I am NOT a programmer. Well the company that built my site did take me by the hand and teach me how to make minor changes and how to add content and all of the day to day necessities of running a popular website.
It still was confusing and I had to call on them to pull me out of the ditch several times. Then a little over a year ago I was introduced to WordPress and have learned just enough now to be dangerous. I can build a Blog site or even a static website using WP in no time at all. They are excellent sites too I might add.
That said, there are times that I think one might want to consider using Joomla! To build a site that requires some heavy duty data base activity, inventory control, point of sale, etc. Sure there is probably a WordPress plugin for some of these features but maybe Joomla! would be a better choice.
So I went to http://Joomla.org and started to look around to see what they had to offer. This is a pretty impressive system and they have an enormous following. The forum has 1,503,625 posts, 331,882 topics, and 249,947 members as of this morning.
Some of the topics and categories on the Joomla! forum are:
Installation
Migrating and Upgrading
Security
Administration
Extensions
Templates
SEO
Language
Performance
And many, many more…
From the website under What is Joomla?
Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.
Then there is a good description of Content Management Systems (CMS)
Some examples of what Joomla! can do.
Who uses Joomla?
And again, many more…
It appears as though as with all Open Source programs, there is a hoard of engineers, programmers, designers and users that stand ready to lend a hand to anyone that wants to give it a go.
I think I will set up a test site and just start learning this myself. It can’t hurt and just might come in handy with the bigger clients that I have been having sign up for my website development services.
Besides, I still have my friends that built my original Joomla! site that I do J-V projects with quite often, and if my ox gets stuck in the ditch, I’m sure they’ll be there to pull me out.
Cure Your Blog Code HTML With The Niche Doctor
This is a quick post to tell you all about how the Niche Doctor is curing my Blog Code HTML.
The Niche Doctor Starter Kit, and The Niche Doctor Park Page Theme:
The two products announced on Garry Conn’s Blog that are being provided by the Niche Doctor are worth their weight in gold!
Garry knows WordPress inside and out. He teamed up with the master cyber coder, David Cooley to bring you two fantastic tools that will make you money, absolutely!
When I read the announcement two days ago I immediately purchased both the “Niche Doctor Starter Kit” and the “Niche Doctor Park Page Theme” for WordPress.
The reason I bought the Park Page Theme was because I have many dozens of domains that I bought over the past year, some of which were great ideas at the time, but now that I know more, not so good. You’ve all done the same thing, I’m sure.
NameDrive Free Parking:
I thought about parking some of these unused domains at GD (you know what GD really stands for right?,) GoDaddy, but the bas***ds want 10 bucks a month. Then I found out about NameDrive and parked a dozen of them there about three months ago because it is free, and if there is any advertising revenue generated you get a share of it.
Well forget that. Three months and not one cent of advertising revenue. So with the Niche Doctor Park Page Theme you can have your domain up and running with a keyword pumping minimum blog code html design and then you can put some AdSense on and then see what happens.
Keep Unused Domains, or Not:
When it gets near renewal time you can decide to either let the domain go, or you can sell it if it looks promising, or you can develop it if it looks real good. This is a GREAT idea!
The Niche Doctor Starter Kit for WordPress:
So that is what the theme will do but other than testing it out on one website I can not put this Niche Doctor Starter Kit book down. I have learned more in two days than I had in almost a year as far as how to fix my HTML code. The instructions that Dave and Garry give on how to optimize your Blog for the search engine bots and also for human consumption are just superb!
One client that I do some website management for is blown away. I brought his five year old broken website up to modern times about four moths ago, and then added a Blog. Then I have been tweaking things and trying to get him to come to the front of the pack in G-serps. We went from total obsurity four months ago to #215 +/- about two weeks ago, where it has been hovering.
Once I inserted two adjustments that I learned in the Niche Doctor Starter Kit prescription, I brought that client site up to Number 3 in Google for his keyword/money words in less than 24 hours! Yikes!

How I Learned how to Build a 125X125 Banner Ad by the Ninja Coder
You want to create a logo for free!
How to Create a 125 Banner
Ok, no big deal you say right? Making little button ads that link out to a website somewhere is a piece of cake. Easy stuff, no big deal. Well it is a big deal to me because as I have said before I HATE programming!
It was only nine months ago that I decided to veer life’s course toward learning how to make a little moohlah off the Internet. I had been hearing all these fantastic claims of millionaires being created from nothing more than putting ads on their websites. I had been publishing stuff for free on the web for over ten years. It’s my turn dammit!
Well that’s a joke. There are many people that do make a lot of money, but it is not by slapping a couple of AdSense groups of ads on your favorite website and then sitting back to light up a stogie. It’s a Hell of a lot of hard work.
I put in at least 10 14 to 14 18 hours per day, EVERY day of the week, trying this, tweaking that, reading mmo Blogs, learning the domaining game, writing, writing and writing. If it wasn’t fun, I would NEVER work this hard at a real job.
A few months ago I couldn’t have told you the difference between a and a
in HTML code. Not because it was that difficult to learn, I just never wanted to, or had a need to…
So here’s the deal. When I first started reading Garry Conn’s Blog about six months ago, I was struck with how common sense this game could be. That’s if you don’t let it overwhelm you. Those of you who know Garry, and if you are reading this I can’t believe any of you don’t know him, well he is occasionally a tiny teensie weensie bit opinionated. That’s just part of his charm.
Early on I asked Garry how to learn enough HTML to learn how to make some slight code changes in WordPress themes or plugins, when needed. He gave me a very positive reassurance that learning that crap was EASY! He he he. Needless to say he got me. It isn’t easy, it’s a damned struggle.
Well today I am a Ninja coder ready to do battle. Not really but I always wanted to be a Ninja something or other. So you know those little 125X125 pixel button banner ads that are all over everyones websites? I HAD to know how to make one.
So for those of you that want to create a logo for free, here is how I did it. Maybe some of you will laugh and call me an idiot for doing it this way, but it worked for me, and if you need to learn how to create a logo for free, then it will work for you also.
First you have to find an image you want to use and then you have to crop it to some size that is workable. I have an old version of Adobe Photoshop that still works good enough for me, so I took part of my banner at the top of this Blog site, the lovely Carribean beach, and I cropped a chunk of it to about 400X400 px so I could see what I was doing with it.
Then I was going to use WORD to just type out the visible label that you can see which says LinkMoney dot org, and then paste it over the image as a layer. Well I decided I had absolutely NO idea how to do that, so I used the “T” text tool on photoshop to type that label in the cloudy sky of my image area. OK, so now I have an image, with a visible label.
Now how the Hell can I insert the magic code that makes your mouse pointer turn to a little hand and then allows you to click on the image to go to somewhere else? Well I used a search on Google which was something like “how to create 125 banner ads.” None of the sites gave me the exact info but I started to get the picture that hey, why not go and look at some and see how they are already set up on your own sites?
Great, now I’m getting somewhere… Er, sort of.
Well I realized that there were two parts to the code. One was for locating the image itself, and one for where the link should take you to. Now when I looked at some of the buttons using the mouse right click and “properties” I have on my own websites, it really was not very clear because the codes all seemed to be very long and like CRAZY stuff. I can tell you now, that is because those images and links are on the advertisers own websites or sites that they have designated to keep track of some very specific stats.
The easiest way is to make it work on your own website first. I have about a dozen sites that are doing nothing, nothing at all because I just don’t have enough time to write content or to do any promotions with them yet. I’ll get a Round Tuit soon enough.
So I uploaded my image as a post on one of these dormant sites and then started playing with the link code.
You have to use the href command first. That’s the sound my Dad used to make when he would come into the dark room where my date and I were on the couch. So that little command is the one that is going to take you to another location. Here is what I ended up using for the first command line:
<a href=”http://linkmoney.org”> (Which will bring you to this website.)
Then I had to decide where to park my image because that would be permanently in the code and must always be available. You could just park it on your own computer somewhere, and call it up, but then your computer would have to be on all the time. No good. Your web hosting company probably has some storage space for files or images that comes with your hosting package, but I didn’t want to bother to dig into how to do that.
(Note: Since I wrote this post several months ago it has become my most popular of all, thanks to you readers. I did learn that it is very easy to go into your WordPress root and create a folder named “images” then upload all images to that folder and when you want to use them just link to them in the html code.)
So I said to myself, self ! Why not one of the photo hosting websites? They’re all over the place. I had an old account at HELLO which was part of Picassa/Google, but too late. Google has shut HELLO down. So I set up a quick account at photobucket.com and resized my image now to 125X125 and uploaded it to photobucket.
Below each image in photobucket there are some little pieces of html code that allow you to copy and paste images into your posts or emails at will, and I also was able to doctor that code up a little to be able to work with my new 125 ad.
So here is the secod part of this code.
<img border=”0″ src=”http://i457.photobucket.com/albums/qq295/LMDO_photo/125copy.jpg” width=”125″ height=”125″
</a>
What that all means is the img (image) src (source) is located at photobucket with their identifier and jpg extension. Then just for good measure I stuck a couple of dimension commands on there. Not sure I had to do that or not, but I don’t argue with success!
It worked, the damned thing worked, woo hoo ! (Ninja speak)
So now boys and girls, you are going to see that little ocean beach scene all over the place.
Now you can learn how to do simple HTML coding with an excellent HTML Video Tutorial. You can get instant access to this group of downloadable videos by clicking on this link: Click Here!
You can do it too!
Now if you have any questions, you have my permission to ask Garry and he will very politely tell you that “that crap is EASY !”

I am a WordPress Butt Boy!
There, I’ve said it. No apologies.
A year ago you would not have been able to force any level of computer programming down my craw. That is actually still the case. I HATE programming!
I was a Blogger Blogging Blog aficionado. I owned a full featured authority website in a certain field that had been active for many years, that was built by a professional company using Joomla! I had a strong user base and still do. That site led me to wanting to be able to have a more casual connection with my fans and users, so therefore I Blogged using Google’s Blogger.
I never thought about actually being able to make money off this thing called the Internet. Man, what a mistake. I will tell you that I am not one of those Eureka Kids that made a gazillion dollars, er, not yet anyway, but there is a steady stream now that I never dreamed would happen in my life time. It can only get better.
So I forced myself to learn how to install WordPress, purchase domains and hosting and build websites. You will recall that I wrote about this previously in another post: Make Money Create Blogs for your Neighbors
Well this is an update. I have built way over a hundred websites and with each one there are new challenges and new things to learn and accomplish. It seems to me that Matt at automattic probably knew what he was doing when he unleashed this fabulous free software to the world, but I could not see it at the time. Now I get it.
The old way of creating a website page by page in an editor, then uploading and debugging it are over. This Content Management System (CMS) that is open source, (as in Free,) is something that almost anyone that can dial a telephone is able to learn a little at a time. This is causing a world changing event that is progressing even as you read this.
I still figure that it takes about 40 hours to bring a site to it’s full value with all the little features and goodies that you would want, but it actually only takes a couple of hours to install the rough content of a website that even if someone were to fall off a barstool and come up on this domain by accident, it would still look like a real web site.
I have set up sites now in fields that I know almost nothing about, but they can be populated by the new owners in just a matter of minutes, well OK hours. I have built sites in cars, sports, health, history, medicine, saw mills, machine tools, hunting, camping, scouting, sales, bargains, credit, wine, geo based (like city names,) travel, dogs, weddings, antiques, art work, collecting… Get the picture?
You can do this too. Make a few bucks setting up sites for your friends, families, neighbors, and local businesses. You can do it!
First and foremost, in my opinion, is get yourself comfortable with using an ftp program. I held out on that one, and realize that was my weak point. I had played around a little with file transfer protocol in the late 1980′s. That is when I grew to hate programming. Well the ftp programs of today are not your typical father’s ftp program. There’s dozens of them and I’m not going to try to influence you with one over the other. They all do the same thing. Join a forum. Google the Hell out of any questions you might have. The ftp program will be your new best friend.
If you are just starting, pick a domain registering hosting company, (not GoDaddy,) buy one of their cheap programs, and get started. Sure the cheap ones will have you parked on a Tinker Toy server, but you get what you pay for. You can always upgrade, which you will soon do.
I now pay for hosting with three companies, two average ones with average services and bandwidth, and one super duper one that costs more that I ever thought I would pay anyone for anything, almost. But the Damn thing works and never is down. I recently struck gold with setting up a news story related website that I was able to get in on the first floor with. As an early adopter with a keyword rich url and dozens of posts, I am on the first page of you know who in just one week. I haven’t started to monetize this site yet, but I will after a while. With any luck you will be reading future posts, say in a year or so, from the South Sea Island pictured above.
Most of all, read good Blogs in the mmo field to get the impetus to get off your butt and get going. Join some forums, take some online courses, and learn from those that have been successful. I have been doing all of the above for only eight months. Now I are not quite an expurt, but I’m gaining on it.
Here is my recommendation for one of the very best programs on the Internet, and I am not even going to use my affiliate link, I believe in this man and what he does so much that I want you all to join. Like TODAY!
Yaro Starak! What a great name! This guy is unforgettable by having a name that is so like poetry that it will make you want to change your name. But that is not the reason to remember him best by. You absolutely MUST join his Blog Mastermind program! He just started one up again a few sessions ago. You will not have missed anything because all of his mentoring sessions are recorded and downloadable to the students.
You will be tied in to a Blog Mastermind forum, where you can post questions and get real excellent answers from those that know their stuff. You will be tied into a major group with a well known company, that will give you a way to help other students with social networking and to receive the same in return. That in itself is almost worth the price of admission. You want traffic? You can’t handle traffic…! (Oh no, that was from an old movie, I think.)
How’s that for a rant?
It all starts by learning WordPress. It’s not just for Bloggers you know.
I’m Rich!
(Oh by the way, in case you were wondering, you have my permission to give this post a little Link Luv by using your social networking tool listed below.)
Make Money Create Blogs for Your Neighbors
Now that you know how to build a WordPress website, why not put your talent to work and make some extra money?
Look around your neighborhood and talk to storekeepers and manufacturers that you know. Ask them if they have a website? If they do ask them if they have a Blog?
The normal answer to question number two is, No. They may tell you that they can’t be bothered, but in reality it is probably more like they are scared to Hell to get into it figuring they would make some serious blunders and do not want to look like an idiot.
That’s where you can put on the salesman’s cap and give them your best pitch.
A Blog is DYNAMIC. It is ever changing with new content and the Big G (and other search engines also,) just LOVE new content.
With new content the client/customer will be able to impress their readers with new products, discount sales, special promotions and so on. Their Blog sites will get indexed much more often then their old canned spam static website.
Here is where you put on your techie beanie. You will build them a website or Blog and customize and fine tune it to just what their needs are. You already are friends with all of the plugins and themes and bells and whistles that you have struggled to tame, and now it should be cake to implement all of just the right ones for this project.
How do you make money?
Well let me tell you how I do it. Offer to work cheap, say fifty bucks an hour. Most web design companies have to charge $150-$200 per hour to cover their costs, overhead and profit. You won’t have much of an expense and the work is going to be done in your spare time, and it will keep you out of the bars anyway.
I figure a minimum of 40 hours is needed to set up a site from the ground up. That’s name, registration, hosting, and miscellaneous minor expenses. Then you will work with the client to design a system that suits them and you will keep getting input from them as you are building it. They usually do not have any idea what they want until you show them what you have in mind, and then they might get the design juices flowing themselves and feed you with a bunch of good material.
So after a couple of weeks of spare time and about 40 hours invested you should have a half dozen or so articles posted and the client should easily be able to take over the posting. If not, then you might be able to continue posting, say a minimum of a couple of times a week for X amount of dollars on a continuing basis.
I have done this a few time so far and to date I have never drawn any of the above named rates, but I make sure to let the client knows what a great deal they are getting even with my low rate. Here is what I do for payment. Think about what the client has a lot of that could be worth something to you. I have taken goods in trade, and I have also negotiated a commission payment or piece of the action, which you will have to try to negotiate yourself. Most people in business are willing to give it a try if they do not have to actually fork over hard earned cash.
I know it works for me. My customers are thrilled with the results, and they are on their happy Blogging way!
Go for it…
